Live relaxed with Heights at 1301 Hammock Lounge Launch ENO and Mahoney’s sponsor Heights at 1301 Apartment’s first on-campus Hammock Lounge
Johnson City, TN, April, 29. 2014 – What do students taking finals want more than finishing exams? To hang out with friends! Luckily, Heights at 1301 Apartments, a Peak Campus Property, have teamed up with Eagles Nest Outfitters (ENO), the premier hammock company, and Mahoney’s Sports, the area’s premier outdoors store, to create their very first hammock lounge in Johnson City, TN.
The introduction of the hammock lounge was inspired by the successful use of ENO Hammocks as incentives to sign a new lease, or re-sign an existing lease at their Heights at 1301 location close to the East Tennessee State University Campus. Students living in the apartments were also requesting help to hang their hammocks indoors, a growing trend among young adults.
“I am always looking for the ‘coolest’ thing the students want to keep them engaged, and the thought began,” said Heights at 1310 Property Manager, Nicole Woody. “Overall, our hammock promotion was successful and we have given away 23 hammocks.”
The hammock lounge was created soon after and consists of nine 6’x6′ posts fitted with ENO Hanging Kits, holding a total of eight ENO Hammocks donated by Mahoney’s. To launch the new lounge, Heights at 1310 are hosting an end-of-school-year party this Friday, 2 May – the last day of ETSU’s classes. There will be ENO product giveaways from Mahoney’s, free food, music, and lots of hammocking.
“We’re excited about the new hammock lounge,” said Adam Cohen, ENO’s Director of Vendor Relations. “We love how much school campuses are embracing our products, and it’s great to see student housing doing the same. Hopefully, this is just the beginning.”
Come hang with your friends at the Hammock Lounge Launch from 4-7pm this Friday, 2 May at Heights at 1310 Apartments, 1301 Seminole Dr, Johnson City, TN. Although the lounge is currently only at one of the apartment communities, there are hopes to build them at all 63 if everything goes to plan.
