ENO Production and Events Team Member

We are seeking an individual to join our events production team. This team member will travel by company vehicle throughout the lower 48 states representing ENO at indoor and outdoor festivals and events.  The production team builds and maintains festival installations and activations. The production crew steps in during busy seasons as a road warrior, attending festivals, tradeshows, and events across the US representing ENO and processing customer sales. When not at events this individual would assist in the warehouse with the shipping department as well as general facility maintenance as required.    This role would be suitable for an experienced, driven, and self-motivated individual with prior successful event production and sales experience.


Essential Responsibilities of Production Crew

  • Load or oversee the loading of all required event equipment (audio/visual and other), transport to site, set up, break down and properly store equipment post event 
  • Be comfortable with driving large box trucks, freight vehicles
  • Lead work crew in the safe deployment of the portable installation
  • Supervise volunteers and seasonal employees
  • Monitor weather and other conditions during the event and act in accordance with prescribed emergency procedures, if necessary 
  • Attend event planning meeting where Events Coordinator provides details on site logistics and equipment 
  • Track and maintain event equipment and supplies 
  • Follows safety procedures. Identifies unsafe situations and work hazards, corrects them if possible, and reports them to supervisor  
  • Be familiar with regulations laid out by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA)
  • Be prepared for routine physicals and drug tests as regulated by the FMCSA
  • Maintain company vehicle and report any issues to supervisor
  • Communicate with on-site events coordinator in a way that is well representative of ENO
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Essential Responsibilities of Road Warrior/ Event Sales Position

  • Interact professionally and effectively with new and existing customers
  • Process customer orders (previous experience with Square POS a plus)
  • Compile sales reports from each event, to be sent to supervisor at the close of each event.
  • Collect and report customer product feedback
  • Exceed and surpass targeted sales goals
  • Develop a high level of product knowledge and be able to demonstrate uses
  • Manage the visual merchandising of event space
  • Respond to and addresses customer’s complaints or inquiries
  • Maintain company vehicle and report any issues to supervisor
  • Perform these and other duties as assigned

Essential Responsibilities of Warehouse Associate

  • Assist with the unloading of shipment containers and putting away newly received product from in-bound shipments into designated areas as needed
  • Run warehouse equipment like pallet jacks and forklifts in a safe and proficient manner
  • Pick, label, pack, and generally prepare products to ship
  • Work in a consistent and repetitive work environment while remaining focused and paying great attention to detail
  • Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills in order to relay appropriate and timely information to Warehouse Manager, Inventory and Data Coordinator and other associates
  • Assist in daily housekeeping and end-of-day warehouse clean up, recycling boxes and pallets, making sure aisles are clear of debris, etc…
  • Maintain a safe work environment in warehouse as described in the Warehouse Safety Guidelines


Qualifications and General Experience

  • Three years of experience on the ground in event production
  • Experience in sales and customer service
  • Clean driving record a must
  • Must be a self-starter, self-managed, motivated and have the ability to multi-task with minimal supervision
  • Experience driving box trucks
  • Technical and safe operating aspects of event logistics and audio/visual equipment, sound board, other audio systems components, and lights
  • Highly organized and ability to adapt to quickly changing priorities and environments
  • Departmental and OSHA safety standards for event production
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with staff and the general public
  • Ability to exercise discretion and independent decision-making
  • Strong time management and stress management skills
  • Must be comfortable with travel, and camping outdoors for up to 7 days at a time
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Models behaviors consistent with our company values

  • Maintains a positive attitude

Work Environment

On-site event set up and management. Production crew work is performed in outdoor environments in all types of weather. The employee may be exposed to noise, lighting, large crowds, and inclement weather. 

Special Requirements

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk, stoop, kneel and crouch. The employee is occasionally required to climb, balance and use tools requiring a high degree of dexterity. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifts and/or moves up to 50+ pounds.  The employee
