Might want to take a closer look at the packaging on your products. In bold red print, it says that the lights are powered by AA batteries which is incorrect. AA batteries are what I purchased before setting out on a camping trip. After setting up camp, I quickly found out that AA batteries were too big. On closer inspection of the packaging, in smaller print up above, it informs me that I need AAA batteries - which is what I needed.
