Valentines Day Ideas for the Outdoors lovers!

Hey ENOpians!

It’s nearly love day…are you ready to grab your DoubleNest and share it with a special someone? If you are, here are some ideas courtesy of mikeoffthemap and the National Park Foundation for the best ways to combine two glorious things – the outdoors and your loved one!

1. Instead of falling in line behind copious amounts of other last-minute-gift-getters at the flower shop, why not treat yourself and your partner to REAL flowers in your national parks? Check out the National Parks Web site for a list of the top national parks you can enjoy an exceptional Valentine’s Day in. As a bonus, just think of all the places you can hammock with such a beautiful back drop?!

2. Find a wonderful outdoors spot to watch the sun go down. Cheesy – maybe. But cheap and beautiful – definitely! Try Arizona’s breathtaking canyons!
3. Get historical and explore cities full of stories! Places like Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia are perfect for this kind of thing! You can always stop for a picnic in your hammock when you need a re-group.
4. Participate in a shared activity such as rock climbing, zip lining or kayaking! Think of the memories created doing that!

Whatever you choose, leave the busy restaurants and heaving chocolate shops alone and go explore the outdoors! Hammock, hug, and have a great valentine’s day!

 ENOlove!
