{worthWILD} Boulder-White Clouds, sixth documentary in worthWILD series

Film Depicts Effort Protect Idaho’s Boulder-White Clouds as a National Monument

BEND, ORE., October 8, 2013 — The Conservation Alliance - an organization that ENO actively supports – has released {worthWILD} Boulder-White Clouds, the sixth film in the worthWILD series. The film tells the story of the Idaho Conservation League’s campaign to encourage President Obama to protect the Boulder-White Clouds as a National Monument.

For more than a decade, Idaho Conservation League has been working to protect the Boulder-White Clouds as a 330,000-acre Wilderness area located in the heart of the Sawtooth National Recreation Area. The Conservation Alliance has been a consistent partner with ICL on this effort, granting $125,000 to this campaign since 2006.

After trying to pass a bill in six consecutive sessions of Congress, ICL is now asking President Obama to use the Antiquities Act, to declare the Boulder-White Clouds a National Monument, permanently protecting this land for future generations.

Produced by Alexandria Bombach’s Red Reel Video, {worthWILD} Boulder-White Clouds is the sixth documentary The Conservation Alliance has produced as part of the worthWild series, which the organization launched in 2012.
